A man died early Friday morning after being hit by a semi-truck, KCRG reports. Marion police said first responders were called to Iowa Highway 13 near Linn Aire Avenue just before 3 a.m. for a crash involving a semi-truck and a pedestrian.First responders said they attempted life-saving measures, but the man died at the scene.The driver of the truck was not injured.Officials are not releasing the name of the person who died at this time.The crash remains under investigation.» Download the free KCCI app to get updates on the go: Apple | Google PlayGet the latest headlines from KCCIAccording to the latest data from the Iowa Department of Transportation, 68 people have died so far this year on Iowa roads, including eight pedestrians.
