Kimberley, who has her boys with former boyband star Justin Scott, was candid about the struggles - particularly when her tots would not take her milk.

Speaking of their joint effort, she said: 'When they're not feeding, it's so terrible. Some of the nights me and Justin had - literally him squeezing the milk out of me literally two drops into his mouth.

'We got there in the end but it took months. Those vile nipple shields but I couldn't have done it without them. Once they were feeding, they were growing.'

On the battle of being famous and breastfeeding, she said: 'You know some people might recognise you and it is worse. You wish you were anonymous.

'You try to be discreet and I used to do feeds in the toilet alone. With Cole I got braver. You don't want someone looking over and thinking: "Is that Kimberley's boob?" I was envious of my sister and friends who used to whip it out. With Cole I got over it because I just thought who cares? It's a boob'.

Giovanna went on to reveal she could 'shoot her milk' across a dinner table and sprayed her friend with milk.

On her relationship with Justin, she said: 'It brought us closer together. We were together for so long I didn't think I could have any more love for him but with each kid there's a little bit more.'

Of softening since having children, she said: 'Since being a mum I am no longer the ice queen… I am a bit emotional these days, I never used to be, just since having kids, it literally broke something down and I’ve never been the same since'.

'The body thing is hard - I'm waiting for it to kick in with Col - it's not that I can't be bothered. If I was still in the band I would pressure myself.

'I spend a lot of time running around after those boys. When the sun comes out and the reality of wearing swimwear. Any swimwear fills me with dread now.'

She spoke of meeting new friends, she said: 'It was liberating to become a mum and meet lots of normal mums.

'Before being a mum I was always with the band and I didn't generally meet that many new people. But baby groups you always have something in common. I forced myself to do it with Bobby.'
